If you don't just sit there...
And paddle around alot...
You don't need it...
Also, sitting 100 yards off the beach...
In the middle of winter...
Near the 45th parellel...
You're not supposed to feel...
Like you're gettin' laid in a sauna...
I've done both...
They are different.

I hate bumpin uglies in the hot tub.
All that steam and heat. I generate enough of that on my own, I don't need the help.
And then all that water dehydrating the natural lubrication process.
Deadening the senses.
Plus I don't wear puka shells.

One of the central coast surf shops had quite the stockpile of these. I've heard they are very toasty but for the price? Not interested. I'd rather put it towards another suit.

my core never gets cold, its my fingers and toes that are the problem. maybe some of those things you put in your ski gloves and boots would be useful sometimes. but yea, nothing beats keeping moving.
