Doc laments how the OSP sucks.

It has sucked for a long time.

I suck.

I used to not suck.

I wish it could all be a do-over.

Maybe that's it...just pull the plug.
Delete in masse.

Delete profiles, all of them. Mine first.
Delete all threads.

Go back to having monitors that do not actually know anyone, and we could all meet again.

I know what I have come to expect from most of you, and I am sure if anyone actually reads my crap it is the same shite over and over again.

In all honesty, I have not done myself any favors over the history of the newer page. I am quite often misunderstood, mis-read, and people in general believe things about me that are really not so true.

I often think how I could leave, and come back under a new profile, and not have anyone know me, not like any one here really knows me, but you know what I mean.

But I would be smelled out in 3 seconds.

It's like that line from Joe Pesci in Casino. We were handed paradise, and we fucked it all up.

Okay, so it was not exactly paradise, however we sure fucked it up, whatever it is/was.

I say wipe the whole thing out...and do-over.

the anti-spam efforts really killed the page. I was never bothered by the "bots" much. At least aliases gave the feeling of fresh faces and newcomers. The effort it takes to register now really weeds out people with any kind of life... it's been about 8 of us all posting to each other for years now.

Seems like the OSP goes through phases of genius and then it can get fairly lame. But there is a lot of history for sure. I say keep it. The people that post regularly will always be there regardless of a do-over.
