The 2005 Clean Water Classic was a great success, even with the uncooperative weather. The waves were choppy and varied from waist to head high. The weather for the weekend was characterized by rain with periods of simple overcast weather. Despite the weather, over 149 participants surfed in the Classic, and spectators lined the top of the bluff through all the heats of both days. The Pacific Northwest Surfrider Chapters will share in the $6500 raised by the Classic, and they thank all of the participants and sponsors for a wonderful event.
